...on the open ocean in a 12 foot kayak.
This story amazes me. I can barely stand a ripple of waves on an inland pond while in my 16 foot kayak and would never take it into the open Atlantic Ocean on purpose.

Unreal. Kind of a quick version of Old Man and the Sea, minus the sharks that ate the fish.
Holy crap and I thing just getting in and out of my kayak with out dumping is a feat.
