Summer

Well, not officially yet, but we're ready for it. We put the canopy up on the deck for our outdoor dining room, and just a nice area to hang out day or night.

It was hot yesterday and we officially had a heat wave. Not too common here on the Cape, but it happens. Last night the house did not cool down like it did the night before, so for kicks we set up one of our tents, put the air mattress in and slept out. Really nice change and we figured it would get us away from the cat (Sprout) who at been waking me up at 4:30 the past few mornings yelling his head off next to the bed.


I was awake at 4:30 again, but this time the "morning chorus" of birds was the alarm clock. I was able to get back to sleep. Good stuff. We may do the same tonight. Expecting more seasonable temps tomorrow through the weekend.
