This evening, Mrs and I enjoyed three male ruby-throated hummingbirds battling over territory and the feeders. The females have returned, but it was only the males involved in this today.
They are such fun to watch though at times they remind me of today's politicians. I usually have 50 to 75 of the little beggars and have to make 3 quarts a day. So far only one hummer and a woodpecker scarfing up the nectar. Hope some more make it soon. I miss them.
