More Snow

I just finished snow blowing and clearing the walking paths again.  Good to go for the morning.
Since the blizzard we have had a storm that consisted of mostly rain.  Thankfully the load of snow already on the ground absorbed a lot of the water from that and we were only slightly at risk from getting water in the basement.  It's been snowing since last night after rain and freezing rain turned to all snow.  Probably picked up and other 6 to 8 inches, though it's hard to know given the long duration which tends to pack down.  It's also a sticky 'good for snowmen' snow.

Off-Cape is another story where in Worcester and Boston they're getting another couple feet.  Records being set in Boston and the railway public transportation system known as "The T" has been knocked out completely.  Not good.

Looks like the pattern will remain unstable with a couple more storms in the near future.

Eventually this will all melt away and before we know it we'll be bitching about the bugs and heat.

Here are a few images of some of the load of birds that come to the feeders.  The northern cardinal population has been incredible and I was able to get a count of 21 today.

 We have a female that visits regularly.  She has a pigment issue.  We call her "Whiteface".

There are plenty of American robins around.  We get them regularly to the birdbath and today I watched them eating the fruits on our little roses.

Tough times for all of them.
