The turnout on Saturday seemed to be very good, even requiring a detail officer to cover traffic at the intersection and monitor parking. The kiln opening was wonderful and it's fun to have all those people gathered in the studio watching and helping remove the pots. We purchased several pieces of pottery; all but one for ourselves.

It was wonderful to have a very local experience and see some faces I have not seen in some time. Today we returned with a gift of eggs for the Engleys and visited some more. Hollis was kind enough to send us home with a some local oysters that we will be partaking in very soon. Neighbors, especially good ones, are a wonderful thing.

That sounds like a really neat day Barry. Neighbors with oysters?? I knew I was missing something living so far from the shore.
It was great to see both of you here, Barry. And we had your eggs for breakfast this morning. Patti, come on up to Cape Cod and we'll see that you get some good local shellfish.
