Kennebecs!

I finally got the nerve to dig in to the potato hill today after prompting from Mrs. G. I had only put in a few and was nervous about the harvest. I dug up only a small portion of the row today. They look great. There was some loss due to some being too close to the surface and turning green, but I did get a good bunch from just a little digging. I left the rest in the ground for now as I have no good way to store them.

We had some for supper along with grilled garden zucchini and summer squash with turkey loin.
